Nnamdi Agbim – C.E.O

Engr. Nnamdi Agbim is the founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Interkel Group, one of the stronger, diversified indigenous construction and telecom infrastructure companies in Nigeria. Engr. Agbim has taken the company from its humble beginnings over 3 decades ago to its present position as one of the most diversified indigenous construction and engineering companies in Nigeria.

Since the deregulation of the Nigerian telecom industry, Engr. Agbim has led the transformation of Interkel from a civil engineering implementation company to a leading telecom infrastructure company in Nigeria and other African countries. In the process, Interkel has successfully executed a number of noteworthy telecom infrastructure projects. Nnamdi is a Fellow of a number of professional bodies including, the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Nigerian Institute of Structural Engineers, and the Nigerian Institute of Construction Industry Arbitrators.

He sits on the board of several companies and is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, a change agent, and a strong believer in family values. Nnamdi is also a founding Director of the Nigerian–Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of Business Angels of Norway. An alumnus of Lagos Business School, Nnamdi also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nigeria.

Barnabas Olise

Barnabas Olise is the Business Development and Strategist at Interkel. He began his career in Deloitte, an international firm of a chartered accountant as an audit trainee; he spent nearly a decade with the firm and gained cognate experience in auditing companies, operating in every sector of the Nigerian economy. Following his stint at Delloitte, he joined former Intercontinental bank (Now Access Bank Plc) and facilitated the expansion of the Ghanaian subsidiary branch, expansion to 28 outlet. He saved as the banks’ group head project management and later group executive management services and franchise expansion, he now drives the business development and strategy of the Interkel group

He holds a BSc in mathematics from the University of Ibadan and is a chartered member of the chartered institute of accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Azuka Chibogu

Azuka Chibogu is the Executive Assistant To The MD. He is a seasoned risk manager, entrepreneur and administrator having worked in multinationals and indigenous companies and contributed his quota to the growth and development of these companies.

He cut his tooth in underwriting and risk management in one of the foremost insurance companies in Nigeria (America International Insurance Company now AIICO Insurance Plc) before moving to a couple of risk management firm as head of client service, head of customer relations and   Chief operating officer. He went ahead to become the group risk manager of Etisalat Trading as Emerging Markets Telecommunications Services in Nigeria, became the operational procurement manager and acting head of Technical Procurement.

He is now responsible for change management and operational matters relating to customer satisfaction in the Interkel Group and works in the MD’s office, he also doubles as the Executive Director and the CEO of Interkel Technologies Limited a technology sister company of Interkel.

He is a graduate of insurance from the Lagos State Polytechnic, a fellow of the Institute Of The Chartered Institute Of Loan And Risk Management, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Calabar

Kolawole Olalekan

Kolawole Olalekan is the Head of Finance and a brilliant product of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, with upper credit in Accountancy.

He graduated in 1999 and has worked for 13 years as an accountant, of which 5 years were spent as a middle-level staff and 8 years in a managerial position. He has vast professional knowledge in Telecommunication, Property maintenance, and Maritime Accounting.

He is Chartered Accountant and has attended training locally and internationally. He is also an associate member of Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered), Institute of Credit and Collection of Nigeria, and currently undergoing an MBA programme at University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Humphrey Anyanwu

Humphrey Anyanwu is the head of construction at Interkel Group.

He is a commercially astute, results-driven Civil Engineer with 23 years experience in office and residential building schemes construction, Oil and Gas industry, Industrial project and experience in road design and rehabilitation.

A graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, having attended various professional training in Project Management such as Enhanced contract management guide (ECM 1 & 2) under the sponsorship of Shell Petroleum Development Company(SPDC) in 2001 and Operational Excellency training sponsored by Chevron Texaco Nigeria LIMITED. A Corporate Member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers.

Chike Agba

Chike Agba (B.Eng., MSc) is currently the Chief Technical Officer and Head of Africa strategy and operations for the Interkel Group. In this role, Chike oversees the deployment and implementation of 4G and 5G technologies, active and passive operations management, fibre technologies deployment and maintenance for key telecom operators, tower companies and equipment manufacturers.

Chike’s portfolio also includes driving Interkel’s growth strategy, business building and expansion efforts into African countries. Chike has worked in the African telecoms infrastructure space since 2009. Chike led the crafting and implementation of Interkel’s growth strategy and expansion into Ghana, Congo DRC, Congo Brazzaville, Gabon, Mali, Uganda and Tanzania including setting up operational business entities in most of the locations.

Chike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology in Bauchi, Nigeria, and a Master’s degree in Telecommunications and Computer Networks Engineering from London Southbank University in London.

He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at Columbia University in New York.

Obiora Agbim – PMP

Obiora Agbim (M.Eng,Msc, PMP) worked as Deputy Head, Engineering at Interkel. Obiora Agbim has worked In various consulting firms delivering value to Fortune 500 companies. Including Ergo, PwC, GEP, Q5 to mention a few. A multi-talented motivational speaker, fitness enthusiast, and hiker. As a consultant, he was responsible for the initial transformation in the engineering department of the group and brought a lot of value through optimisation and transparency

He has an undergradute & Masters in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, a Graduate Masters in Management Science and Engineering from Columbia University, and a Project Management Professional.
