As part of CSR goals, ourInterkel provides affordable but innovative educational solutions to a range of challenges in our economic environment. We have so far trained over 20,000 students in the South-West, South-South, South-East, and North-Central Regions of Nigeria.
1. Build and equip ICT Lab with no upfront cost to the schools
2. Developing contents and training program for schools, educators, and students
3. Deployment of technology in education solutions
4. Organise and conduct Microsoft Certification Examinations within the academic environment to validate skills.
5. Including successful students in both yearly Microsoft Office specialist Championship and Imagine Cup competition.
We have provided 21 schools ( Primary, Secondary and Tertiary institutions with the following;
• Between 21 to 500 systems
• Between 21 to 500 furniture
• Inverter; 1 printer; 1 projector; 1 digital projector screen; 1 Microsoft Imagine Academy license; and Instructors.
• We are currently partnering with Microsoft on our platform as an Authorized Education Partner (AEP) to deliver Microsoft Imagine Academy to the youth segment of our population in a sustainable and affordable manner.
• We have helped schools across the country to realize their dreams of imparting ICT skills to their pupils and students, we currently have Microsoft Imagine Academy across the country.
The global Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way students in our communities learn. The Nigerian educational sector was badly hit following the various lockdowns that happened in several states across the Nation.
Interkel intends to ensure that Nigerian students keep learning despite the fortuitous situation the pandemic caused.
Our analysis of the situation indicates that students need: 1. Devices; 2. Connectivity; 3. and Remote learning platforms to be able to actively participate in the learning and education we are offering them.
Following the increasing number of more students needing the ability to learn remotely, Interkel seeks strategic partners to enable us effectively reach more students, provide a broader ICT learning Spectrum, and source funding.
